Thanksgiving 21

In search of a cute, festive outfit that would allow for my two Thanksgiving meals, I headed to my favorite Forever 21 to find something inexpensive to wear.

My shirt, pants, and necklace are all from Forever 21! For a semi-formal outfit, the whole thing set me back only about $55. The shoes are flats I’ve had for a while by Sam Edelman.

I had a great day with both sides of my family. For my first meal, my family and I went to Capital Grille, and even though they had a full turkey dinner, I had to go with my carnivore side and gyet steak! After all, I knew I was going to have the full turkey dinner later on anyway.

Wendy and I shared a pumpkin cheesecake that was AMAZING, and overall it was a really lovely and fancy meal!

After our restaurant-cooked meal, my sister and I headed over to my Mom’s family to enjoy a traditional home cooked Thanksgiving dinner! It was equally as delicious, even though at this point I had a substantial food baby growing.

After a crazy couple of weeks at school, I was more than thankful to be home with my family. I got to see both sides of my family and I’m grateful I get a few more relaxing days at home before I have to head back to Tucson to finish up my second-to-last semester of college!
